Looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Selwyn Sprott House (Hospital & Resthome level care). Be a part of a supportive and friendly team in a close-knit retirement village environment.

We currently have a permanent part-time vacancy available, working Monday 1430 - 2300 and Thursday 0700 - 1530 - 16 hrs per week.

About the role:

This role involves being a good leader and having effective problem-solving skills, as you will lead the clinical care provision within the care home. Reporting to the Care Manager, your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to interact well with residents and family members of all backgrounds and to work with them on designing their individualised care plans. Reliable and trustworthy, you will pride yourself on your clinical expertise, compassion and respect for the person.

You must have a current and valid NZNC registration and APC, Current InterRAI training is also desirable.

Set in just over three quarters of a hectare of mature gardens in the residential heart of Karori, Sprott House comprises of 13 independent living villas, a 73-room care facility (rest home and hospital) and a purpose-built, dedicated secure dementia care unit for 24 people.
