Care Partners - Selwyn Retirement Village

Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver looking to make a real difference in the lives of older people? Join our team at Selwyn Retirement Village, where care is at the heart of everything we do.

We're currently seeking two Care Partners to join our supportive and friendly team, providing quality care across our Rest Home, Hospital, and Dementia-level care units.

Vacancy 1: Thursday to Sunday 0700-1500 (30 hrs)

Vacancy 2: Friday to Sunday 0700-1330, Monday 1500-2200, Tuesday 1500-2315 (32.25 hrs)

About the role:

As a Care Partner, you'll be part of a team committed to delivering person-centred care that respects the dignity and independence of each resident. Your day will be varied and rewarding, supporting residents with personal care, mobility, activities, and companionship in a warm and nurturing environment.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in aged care or healthcare preferred
  • A Level 3 or 4 Health & Wellbeing qualification (or working towards it)
  • Eligibility to work in NZ permanently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting older people
  • Ability to work rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Computer savvy
