- Vacancy 1 - Tuesday to Friday 0645-1515 - 32 hours
- Vacancy 2 - Monday to Thursday 1445-315 - 32 hours
- Vacancy 3 - Monday 1500-2315, Wednesday 0700-1515, Sunday 1500-2315 - 23.75 hours
- Vacancy 4 - Thursday to Monday 0645-1515 - 40 hours (Maternity cover until 28/3/26)
The role
In this leadership position, you will:
- Guide and support a self-led caregiving team, ensuring a safe, welcoming home for residents
- Work alongside our Registered Nurse team to provide coaching, direction, and day-to-day leadership
- Be the first point of contact for roster changes, absences, and leave requests
- Arrange and facilitate team meetings and assist with resident and family meetings
- Welcome and orientate new caregivers so they feel part of the team from day one
You'll have the backing of a supportive senior team while helping us live our Eden Philosophy — putting residents first in everything we do.
About you
You're a natural leader who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment. You'll bring:
- Minimum 3 years' caregiving experience within the aged care sector (Level 4 NZ Health & Wellbeing qualification or working towards it preferred)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Roster management experience
- Fully medication competent
- Some leadership experience
- The ability to run team meetings and take meeting minutes
- Confidence using computers and strong admin skills
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- Empathy, resilience, and a "firm but fair" approach
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Eligibility to work in NZ permanently
- Availability to work the advertised hours
