We're seeking a Village Nurse to work Monday and Tuesday nights (10:00pm - 7:00am), providing clinical support to our independent living residents.

About the role

This is a unique, autonomous position where you will respond to overnight clinical call-outs from residents living independently within the village.

You'll:

• Respond to clinical call-outs and assess resident needs
• Manage acute situations, including falls and emergencies
• Provide professional nursing care and clinical decision-making
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate with families where appropriate
• Liaise with emergency services when required
• Support rest home/hospital teams with non-urgent clinical tasks (where applicable)

You'll be working closely with our overnight security team and have on-call support from senior clinical staff when needed.

About you

You are calm, confident, and able to think on your feet—especially in urgent situations. You enjoy working independently and take pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

You will bring:

• NZ Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current APC
• Minimum 12 months NZ aged care experience
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Solid documentation and communication skills
• Full clean driver's licence
• Confidence working independently on night shift
